I'm currently reading "The White Rhino Hotel" by Bartle Bull. It's for the library's "Summer Reading 2008" program; they have it every year.

ooh, I’m a voracious summer reader when it's warm and everything slows down. Sunday read “Ethan Frome” by Edith Wharton, couldn't put it down, painful and beautiful -- before that read "The Namesake" by Jhumpa Lahiri and now have just started “In America” by Susan Sontag. I’m collecting reviews of new books to stock up on when I’m on vacation in the States in August and hope to find right here some new and old ones to add to my list.

Currently I'm reading The Life and Times of Horatio Hornblower: A Biography of C. S. Forester's Famous Naval Hero by C. Northcote Parkinson. I have read all 11 books by CS Forester whose main character is Horatio Hornblower, so this is the biography of the character. The interesting thing about it is that Horatio Hornblower is a fictional character, but in reading this biography, it really makes you think he was real. Fills in some of the gaps in the original series. All the books are a great read!

Hunting for a pattern to knit or crochet(not tie) yarn, around a plastic hanger to provide a nice padding for clothing.
Do you have a photo of the one that Wenlan Chia has in her book, Twinkle Weekend Knits?
Any other sources?
Many Thanks,
