Steve Yarbrough and Maude Schuyler Clay discuss images from Maude's book of her photographs, DELTA LAND, published by the University of Mississippi Press.
Steve writes:
"Maudie and I actually only met a little over a year ago, when I was living in Oxford, Mississippi, during my year as the Grisham Writer in Residence at Ole Miss. I felt like I knew Maudie even before I met her, because the sights her eye honed in on said a lot about who she was, as well as saying a lot about the place she and I both come from. Maudie is the Delta's finest visual artist, in my opinion, and now I can proudly call her a friend. She's been a soul-mate for a long time."
