Archivist Note

(Also see Sources)

I want to thank all the researchers, past and present, whose work and insights contributed to this archive of information. After much thought, I’ve decided not to provide a list of websites where the information was obtained. An old-fashioned, paperbound, pre-Internet academic might suggest that I’m citing books from a library whose location is hidden, but this is not an accurate analogy. Fourth Realm websites change frequently and are constantly being terminated. If I gave a list of sites, it would be obsolete long before this archive was placed on the Internet. Nevertheless, all the articles and books mentioned are part of the common Internet database concerning the Fourth Realm. If they disappear in one location, they will appear in another.

In addition, there is a more significant reason why I have decided not to provide a list of sites. The Tabula have used the current fear of terrorism to control, monitor, and destroy independent websites. It seems foolish to provide a “target list” for their attacks. The mysterious death of the dedicated Fourth Realm researcher Morris “Mory” Sutherland last year is a warning to those who think that writing or distributing information about the Tabula and their enemies is a quaint hobby—like bird-watching or butterfly collecting.

This archive is dedicated to Mory Sutherland—who I had the privilege to meet during my only trip to England. I can still remember the night we drank—and talked—at his local pub in Ipswich. As Mory was walking me back to the bus stop, he stopped at every CCTV camera on our way, shook his fist at our unknown watchers, and told them: “See me? Good! Now go fuck yourself!”
