Special Events and People
-Attending Michael Jordon's 40th Birthday Celebration where I met
a lot of people whose talent I enjoy and to make thing even more
special all of them were wonderful people and most had read my books.
So thanks Beyonce Knowles, Eddie George, Taj Johnson from SWV, Jill
Scott, Jasmine Guy, Holly Robinson Pete, Emmitt Smith and his beautiful
wife and Jay Z
-Winning my third Novel of the Year by the Blackboard-becoming the
first novelist to do so! Thank you Faye and Blackboard. You were

Things You Might Not Know
-That I returned to my literary birthplace when I bought a new house
in Atlanta. It's good to be in the ATL even though I miss New York
and Chicago.
-That I love going to tennis camps to improve my game.
-That I am involved with the Miss America Scholarship Program, the
largest source of scholarships for women. I judged Miss New Jersey
and most recently Miss Ohio.
-That this fall I return to my alma mater as a visiting professor
and writer in residence teaching two classes while I complete my
next novel.
