Welcome to the January issue of Potter Craft News!

Dear Crafters,

With the holidays—not to mention late-night crafting deadlines and way too much chocolate—behind us, I am very much looking forward to getting off on the right foot with 2008. So far, so good. Although the gym remains elusive, I do have my sights on Long Beach, California, where The National NeedleArts Association’s winter trade show begins on January 11.

It’s always an exciting (and exhausting, kind of like the gym) time for us. We love getting together with our comrades in the high-end yarn market and are doubly thrilled to host book signings for our authors. For this show, Wenlan Chia, Kaffe Fassett, Linda LaBelle, and Clara Parkes will be signing copies of their books (Twinkle’s Weekend Knits, Kaffe Knits Again, The Yarn Lover’s Guide to Hand Dyeing, and The Knitter’s Book of Yarn, respectively). If we don’t see you there, I hope our paths will cross sometime this year.

Happy new year!

Rosy Ngo, Editorial Director
