Longtime couple Verona (Maya Rudolph) and Burt (John Krasinski) are expecting a baby, and the impending child's only living grandparents are moving towhere elseBelgium. So Burt and Verona head out on the road, across America, looking for the right place to call home. Along the way they encounter a succession of strange and hilarious friends and relatives (played by a cast that includes Jeff Daniels, Catherine O'Hara, Maggie Gyllenhall, Josh Hamilton, Allison Janney, and Jim Gaffigan), most of whom have no idea what they're doing. About the Authors Dave Eggers is the author of six books, including What Is the What and the upcoming nonfiction work Zeitoun. He is the founder and editor of McSweeney's and the co-founder of 826 National, a network of tutoring and writing labs for youth. With Spike Jonze he cowrote the screenplay to Where the Wild Things Are, to be released in fall of 2009.
Vendela Vida is the author of three books, including the novels And Now You Can Go and Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Nameboth of which were New York Times Notable Books of the Year. She is a founding co-editor of The Believer magazine, and the editor of The Believer Book of Writers Talking to Writers. Her new novel, The Lovers, will be published in 2010.
