The Berenstain Bears’ New Baby
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

"This brightly illustrated story tells of a youngster's happy acceptance of a new addition to the family and how Mama and Papa Bear assist him with the adjustment."--Booklist

The Berenstain Bears Go to School
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

A sympathetic story about Sister Bear, who conquers her fear of starting kindergarten.

The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room
by Stan and Jan Berenstain
"The room shared by Brother and Sister is a mess because the cubs argue over who should neaten up instead of working together. Sure to make toddlers smile while they absorb an implied lesson."--Publishers Weekly
The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food
by Stan and Jan Berenstain; illustrated by the authors
Mama Bear lays down the law when she notices that Papa and the cubs are getting too chubby. With the help of Dr. Grizzly's slide show on how the body works, the Bear family makes a healthful adjustment in their diet and fitness habits.

The Berenstain Bears' Report Card Trouble
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

It’s report card day at Bear County School–a day Brother Bear has been dreading. He’s received horrible marks in all of his classes, except gym. If only his grades were based on how many strike-outs he’s pitched or soccer balls he’s stopped and not on fractions and vocabulary.

The Berenstain Bears Forget Their Manners
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

"When Mama Bear's efforts to improve her family's manners are unsuccessful, she devises a Politeness Plan--a chart listing a chore as a penalty for each act of rudeness. Basic etiquette is presented in a practical way. Berenstain illustrations add humor and understanding."--School Library Journal

The Berenstain Bears Learn About Strangers
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

When Papa Bear tells the cubs why they should never talk to strangers, Sister begins to view all strangers as evil until Mama brings some common sense to the problem. "The Bears' rules for safe conduct among strangers are listed on the last pages, including a rule about the privacy of a bear's body. A good book to start awareness in young children."--School Library Journal

The Berenstain Bears Count Their Blessings
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

Mama Bear is tired of hearing how many Bearbie dolls Lizzy Bruin has and how many Game Bear video games Cousin Freddy just got. During a thunderstorm, Mama gets her cubs to realize that love and a good home are much more valuable than material possessions.

The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

Sister Bear watches Dr. Bearson fill Brother Bear's small cavity. Then it's her turn in the chair to have a dangling baby tooth removed. An entertaining story for preschoolers of a cheerful and informative visit to a dentist.

The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV
by Stan and Jan Berenstain

When Mama Bear decides her family spends too much time in front of the TV, she bans it for a week. Then the Bear family finds other ways to have fun and keep busy, so they watch less when TV is allowed again--and they don't even miss it.
