We currently support the following eBook formats: MS Reader, Palm Reader (formerly called Peanut Press), and Adobe eBook Reader (formerly called Glassbook).

MS Reader is for reading an eBook on your PC, laptop, and Pocket PC.

Palm Reader is for reading eBooks on your Palm or Pocket PC.

Are eBooks returnable?

eBooks are sold on a nonreturnable basis. However, we recognize there will be technical problems that may prevent consumers from downloading eBooks successfully. Customers should contact the seller of the eBook for technical assistance.

What is the price of an eBook from Random View Books™?
Currently, eBooks from Random View Books carry a suggested retail price of $3.99, but prices may vary among different retailers, who are free to establish their own pricing. We hope that this affordable suggested retail price will encourage kids, teachers, parents, and librarians to get started reading eBooks!

Can I print an eBook once I've purchased it?

In order to protect copyrights in the digital environment, eBook files are encrypted so that they cannot be printed or otherwise reproduced.

Where does Random House sell its eBooks?

Random House is currently working with the following retailers and technology companies to sell eBooks:
Amazon.com currently sells the MS Reader and Adobe eBook Reader formats.
Peanutpress.com currently sells eBooks for the Palm Reader.
Random View Books are also available at the Yahoo! Shopping eBooks Web site.
