Magic Tree House
Junie B. Jones
Kami Glass thought breaking her link with handsome, newcomer Jared Lynburn could put Sorry-in –the-Vale out of harm’s way. Boy, was she wrong. Now, Jared’s magic is watered down and his uncle, evil sorcerer Rob Lynburn, is plotting to take over the town. Untold, Sarah Rees Brennan’s second book of the Lynburn Legacy continues the fight between the posers of good and evil in the small English village. And in Kami’s world, it’s hard to determine who is on which side. Even her mother sneaks out to convene with the sorcerers. Unless Kami and her pals on the high school newspaper figure out a way to battle the evil, Sorry-in-the Vale will revert to a town of terror and sacrifices. But even if they win, it just might mean Kami will have to make the first sacrifice.
