Magic Tree House
Junie B. Jones
Throwing together a gourmet meal for 50 people is a piece of cake for 16-year-old Olivia. Keeping the three men in her life, dads Bell and Enrique and brother, Jeremy, on an even keel is another story all together. When her dad’s restaurant faces financial trouble, Olivia is forced to hunt for a real job. On the journey she is introduced not only to a psychic, a prophetic cookbook and a prodigal boyfriend, but to the possibility of finding her birth mother. A summer starting with an arrest, possible bankruptcy and a best friend’s mom dying doesn’t seem like the recipe for finding herself, but for Olivia, they are the secret ingredients to discovering the life she is meant for.
