Magic Tree House

Little did 17-year-old Willie Hammond know that stealing someone’s identity to take a teaching job in a Cherokee Female Seminary inIndian Territorywould be the least of her problems. She’s more of a student than a teacher. Her ideas of savage Indians don’t match the sophisticated, wealthy Cherokee girls she’s supposed to teach. And when she’s assigned the room of a dead student, Willie’s trouble really begins. It appears her room is haunted. While Willie tries to keep her true identity secret, she struggles to discover the truth behind the death of the drowned student who used to inhabit her room. But uncovering that secret might prove to be more dangerous then Willie ever imagined.
