The Lost Sun

By: Tessa Gratton

BOOK TALK

Soren lives in the United States of Asgard, a modern country populated by Norsemen who descend from Odin.  Soren Bearskin hates the berserker blood that lives in his veins.  It was that blood, the frenzied rage that led his father, the mighty warrior, to lose control and murder innocents.  His classmates fear and avoid Soren, and he desperately tries to deny the feelings of rage that haunt him.  When the campus begins to buzz about the arrival of the beautiful seer, Astrid Glyn, everything changes for him.  Astrid immediately recognizes his strength and power and seeks him out.  When the Norse god, Baldur the Beautiful, fails to rise out of the ashes with the sun, Astrid sets out to find him and asks Soren to join her.  Their adventure draws them closer together as they work to find who is responsible for Baldur’s disappearance.
