Magic Tree House
Junie B. Jones
Ruthie and Jack find themselves visiting and revisiting the miniature Thorne Rooms in Chicago’s Art Institute. During their clandestine visits, they discover that items from the dollhouse-like replicas are disappearing. Could it be the work of an art thief or has someone else discovered the magic of the rooms? In order to find out, the two 6th graders must once again hold onto the magic key to shrink and enter the tiny rooms. Throughout their investigation, the magic also takes them on a journey into the past. The other children they meet who are from faraway times and places are also facing uncertain futures. Should they risk changing history and help their new friends or will the magic be taken away before they can?
