Magic Tree House
Junie B. Jones
After the sudden death of her brother, Scarlett’s family seems to fall apart as they deal with their grief. Scarlett herself withdraws from her friends and finds solace in starving herself and riding her horse. It is on one of those rides that she meets handsome Will Cohen. Will awakens a sensuous side to her that she has never experienced. Coming from a family who had no religious affiliation, Scarlett finds herself drawn to the Jewish mysticism of Will and his Rabbi father. Will’s intuitiveness and desire to keep Scarlett safe are soon threatened by a startling discovery that may keep them apart.
