On the Day I Died

By: Candace Fleming

BOOK TALK

After an almost fatal crash, Mike finds his way into a cemetery filled with the graves of teenagers, and each one of the teens has a story to tell about their death. These ghost stories are believable and Mike hears them all; the story of Gina who died in a fire; Johnnie, a street kid during the Depression, had an encounter with a zombie; David who was eaten alive by a monster; Lily who died because of a cursed Monkey’s Paw; Edgar, who slowly went out of his mind; Scott killed by a grotesque gargoyle; and Rich died as a result of an evil hood ornament that takes on a life of its own.   These stories and more will fascinate and haunt you.
