Oddfellow’s Orphanage

By: Emily Winfield Martin

BOOK TALK

Delia suddenly finds herself at Oddfellow’s Orphanage. She doesn’t speak so she writes her words down in a notebook.  Everyone here has something unique about them: from the headmaster Oddfellow Bluebeard himself, to the dancing bears to a boy with an onion head, as well as a student who is a hedgehog. Even the classes, teachers and field trips are unusual. Happily, everyone is loved and accepted as part of the Oddfellow family. There is nothing ordinary at this sprawling home for the extraordinary.
