Meant to Be

By: Lauren Morrill

BOOK TALK

Some things in life can be planned and predicted: what to wear, which sports to play, which classes to take, where to go to college. Other decisions, like who you’re going to fall in love with are usually unpredictable. High school junior, Julia, has her life all figured out. In spite all of her rule following, she has let fate determine who her MTB (Meant-To-Be) is: a boy she has loved since she was 5 years old. The trouble with knowing everything that you want, it closes your mind to anything new or different.  On a class trip to London, Julia learns that some rules were made to be broken and that the things you least expect are sometimes the best surprise of all.
