Kiss of Death

By: Lauren Henderson

Book Talk

Scarlett Wakefield is dying to blend in.  Life’s been hard since her kiss killed Dan McAndrews, and other bodies kept piling up. She’s hoping a Wakefield school field trip to Scotland with her best friend, Taylor, and Aunt Gwen will do the trick. When former classmates from St. Tabby’s who nicknamed Scarlett “The Kiss of Death Girl” show up, Scarlett knows she’s out of luck. Best to try to enjoy the creepy Mary Queen of Scots stories, a few Scottish cemeteries, and stay out her enemies way. But when Scarlett is the target of sinister events, she begins to wonder if that’s possible. And with her boyfriend Jasse AWOL on his bike, Taylor being evasive and her Aunt Gwen simply unbearable, Scarlett know shell’ have to play detective by herself.
