I So Don’t Do Famous

By: Barrie Summy

Book Talk

Sherlock (Sherry) Holmes Baldwin thinks she’s in for an uber-good time when she wins an award for writing an essay on true love for Hollywood Girl magazine.  Unfortunately, her boyfriend breaks up with her right before she leaves for her fab week in Hollywood.  She feels a little sorry for herself, but is soon busy sight-seeing and solving another mystery: unraveling a Hollywood crime involving thieves stealing from celebrity homes. The Beverly Hills Bandits have thus far eluded the police.  When she realizes that she has actually assisted one of the crimes, she begins her trademark ghost-assisted sleuthing. This time she gets unwanted help from a teenage ghost (who was a living celebrity) while trying to keep her name out of the World Wide Web for the Dead. Sherry hopes to make her ghost-mom proud in this California flavored story oozing with pop culture lingo.
