Extraordinary*

BOOK TALK

Most people would love to have a fairy godmother show up one day and grant them three wishes… right?  Senior Jennifer Van Der Berg’s fairy godfather turns out to be more like a nightmare.  With everything seeming to go wrong at once (a car that keeps stalling, no date for the Homecoming dance, an in-school suspension caused by her arch enemy) you’d think she’d be able to come up with some really great wishes. Not really believing the authenticity of the strange person who claims to be her fairy godfather, she blurts out three impulsive wishes; one of which may end with her being dead.  Maybe she should have put a little more thought into what she asked for? Before the week is out, she may even have to agree to become a vampire in order to make things right. When you’re in a tight spot, you’d be surprised what some loyal friends and a little unicorn poop can accomplish. It may even make you Extraordinary
