Every mother wants her children’s lives to be better, and Keeva was no different. If they could escape the slave owners, forced labor and frequent abuse, she wanted them to run. In her son, Furgul, Keeva saw the courage it would take for her offspring to escape to the mystical place – the Doglands. But when her pups make a break for it, all does not go well. Through the eyes of the half-greyhound pup, Furgul, we see the harrowing journey he must take to ensure that his family, and new found friends can run free in the mystical Doglands.
