A Matter of Days

By: Amber Kizer

BOOK TALK

In just 56 days, the BluStar plague has decimated the population of the world. Nadia and her little brother Rabbit are two of the few people who have survived, thanks to a secret vaccination they received just days before the pandemic started. Now they are traveling across the country, from their home in Seattle to West Virginia, to find the uncle that gave them the vaccine and vague instructions on how to find his compound in the woods. There is no electricity, no cell service, and no running water anywhere. Is there anyone left in the world? And if so, are these really people that you want to run into? With nothing more than a “tricks to surviving the end of the world” book, and some practice with video game guns, Nadia and Rabbit are on their own to find a way to survive the end of the world.
