Everyone
at school thinks Ted is crazy, literally. Wouldn't most people think
that if they saw you talking to an imaginary pirate friend? Scurvy
has been Ted's "abstract companion", (abcom for short)
since his dad disappeared seven years before. His little sister
Adeline also has an abcom to keep her company. When Ted decides
that it's time to move on with life without Scurvy, a strange coincidence
occurs. Green bumps appear on everyone's abstract companions and
then the abcoms all disappear. Worried about his sickly friend,
Ted goes on a quest to solve the mystery. He soon finds himself
in the strange underworld of Middlemost where abstract companions
are created and where they are being controlled by a peculiar but
powerful figure known as Persephone Skeleton. What ensues is an
absurd, bizarre, and most outlandish adventure this is guaranteed
to set your own imaginations yo-ho-ho-ing! Tales on the high seas
can't compare to this extraordinary romp in middle Earth. AARRRRRRG!
