Raised in
India, 16-year-old Gemma's life is turned upside down when a vision
of her mother committing suicide comes true. She is sent to a boarding
school in England where she has to blackmail her way into being
accepted by the other girls. But her visions don't stop and she
finds that Kartik, a mysterious young man from India, has followed
her to England. Kartik encourages her to fight off the visions,
but they continue until one night she is led by a child-spirit to
a diary that reveals the existence of a mystical Order. Gemma decides
to follow the diarist's lead and travel into the Realms, a place
of both joy and danger. What will she find there and how will it
affect her life?
