What do
you think it would be like to attend a school where the cheerleaders
rode Harleys? Where students were accepted regardless of their sexual
preference? Where the quarterback is the homecoming queen, and acceptance
is the Golden Rule? This imaginary school is almost perfect and
Paul, who is caught in a love triangle he doesn't want to escape
from, learns more about himself and his friends than he really wants
to know. Joni falls for a football jock who uses and abuses her,
but she can't see it; Tony can only leave his house if his parents
think he is going on a date with a girl, so he lies to protect his
homosexuality; and Rip, the school bookie, takes bets and sets the
odds on Paul's love life. This surreal school and the students who
attend there will make you wish you could join their crowd.
