Molly McGinty
has lost her notebook. And not just any notebook, either. The Notebook.
The notebook that has her entire life in it. It is color-coded,
cross-referenced, and keeps track of every important detail in her
life. This is only the beginning of her problems, though. First,
her grandmother is attending school with her for the annual Senior
Citizen Day at Our Lady of Mercy Middle School. Not only that, but
her grandmother is wearing her new purple suede pants to school.
Second, Molly’s grandmother makes her lug around her huge black
purse, which Molly trips over and gives herself a big black eye.
Then her grandmother is caught smoking in the girls’ bathroom. The
list goes on and on and on. But with all of these bad things happening
to Molly, how on earth does her day end up being good?
