Brian's
Hunt

Ages 10 and up

Now 16 years
old, Brian Robeson returns to the Canadian wilderness where he survived
for 54 days when he was 13. Armed with a few more tools than his
original hatchet, he sets up camp and begins the solitary life of
a lone hunter whose dance with nature is far more important than
the superficial and materialistic lifestyle of his peers back home.
When he discovers a wounded dog and fresh bear tracks, Brian begins
a hunt of a different sort. He realizes that something is gravely
wrong, and when he stumbles upon a Cree Summer Camp, the smell of
blood leads him into a cabin where fear almost strangles him, and
death lingers in the air. Is he really prepared for this dark and
ugly side of nature?
