At a sales meeting, our editors presented some favorite backlist titles. Those Backlist Gems—treasures published prior to this year that folks wanted to bring front and center again—were warmly embraced. Why not also remind our librarian friends about these gems? We thought. And at the same time, we could help meet collection development needs, too.

So, this is the place to come and be reminded of the many great backlist gems that are available from Random House Children’s Books. If you have a favorite that you want to remind people of just email me at awaintraub@randomhouse.com and I’ll do my best to get it posted.
