In
one of the most beautifully written books I have read, Jennifer’s
story unfolds gracefully as she tells the story of the events leading
up to the death of her sister, Beth. Young Jennifer is known for
her beautiful voice and joyous songs, but she loses her voice with
her sister’s death. Jennifer’s best friend, Angela, sets out to
help her figure out what caused Beth to change from the happy person
she was to the wild, secretive person that she became. Jennifer’s
family threatens to fall apart as they struggle to make sense of
the tragedy. This family’s pain will resonate with you for a long
time.
