Pull back
the curtain on the very private thoughts of Sylvia and her family
and friends. This beautifully written poetry collection covers it
all, from the hopes and fears of her mother to the thoughts of all
who came in contact with Sivvy. From former boyfriends, editors
who saw her promise, roommates who loved her, neighbors, and the
husband who betrayed her, all of the voices speak of her as they
knew her. Her desperateness, passion, failures, and the incredible
beauty of her writing survives. Never have I been so fascinated
by footnotes. Reading this book sent me spiraling back to the Plath
of my youth. I am once again in love. Bravo!
