Natalie
and her friends love to play “would you . . .”: Would you rather
lose all your hair or all your teeth? Would you rather have your
father sing in the supermarket or your mother fart in the principal’s
office? After a Friday evening spent hanging out at the local diner
and a rousing round of “Would You” the remainder of the night is
spent pool-hopping—jumping into random backyard swimming pools in
the middle of the night hoping not to get caught. This Friday is
special because Natalie’s big sister Claire is joining the gang.
Claire is off to college in the fall and has agreed to one last
evening of fun before she is off to bigger and better things. This
Friday, everything is perfect. By Saturday night, an accident changes
life in a heartbeat. And has Natalie asking the question, would
you rather know what’s going to happen or not know?
