Vasco loves
his life as a rat, living with his tribe down at the harbor. Food
is plentiful, enemies are few, and friends are always close by.
But when Vasco returns home one day to find his entire tribe killed
by humans, he knows his old life is over. Finding two baby rats
on his way out, Vasco is determined to start a new life where rats
can survive without being constantly threatened by humans. Traveling
further and further away from home, Vasco must make decisions that
put not only his life in danger, but also the baby rats’ lives in
danger as well.
