Dylan Fontaine
has been holding in his emotions for too long: anger at his mother
for leaving, disappointment in his workaholic doctor father, concern
for his slacker, pothead musician brother, Randy, and love for his
best friend, Angie, who’s got a boyfriend. When Angie returns from
a summer acting class, sans boyfriend, and wanting to make Dylan
the star of her experimental movie, life starts looking up. But
first Dylan has to take some chances: disposing of his brother’s
pot, performing with a chainsaw yielding juggler, sketching the
band’s lead singer topless, talking to his mother, and getting out
of jail for starters.
