Moxy Maxwell
has no doubt she will be able to do all 13 things on her List of
13 Things to Do Before Tomorrow. How hard could it be? I mean, the
first 12 things are pretty much the same thing. Write 12 thank-you
notes for the presents she received for Christmas. After that, she
can get ready for the trip of a lifetime. She is going to Hollywood
to visit her dad who she hasn’t seen in almost three years. But
first, the thank-you notes. Unfortunately, things don’t go the way
Moxy has planned. There is the mishap with the copy machine. Plus
the unfortunate incident with the gold spray paint. Still, all in
all, Moxy is pretty pleased with herself; that is, until her mother
comes home, sees the mess, and orders Moxy to her room to think
about what she’s done. Will Moxy ever make it to Hollywood to rub
shoulders with the rich and famous? Or will the 473 photocopied
thank-you notes and the huge gold “THANK YOU” painted on the living
room wall stand in the way of Moxy’s destiny?
