Miranda
doesn’t have any memory of who she is or where she came from. She
only knows that a gust of wind dropped her outside of Bourne Manor.
The only person living at the manor, Wysteria Barrow, takes Miranda
in and outfits her with special boots to make sure the wind can
never pick her up again. Wysteria needs Miranda’s help mending nets
to make money for the upkeep of the manor. What Wysteria doesn’t
need is Miranda asking questions about the locked rooms in the house
or about what really happened to the man who used to live in the
manor. Will Miranda be forced to spend the rest of her life with
the disturbed Wysteria, or will Farley, a new neighbor, help Miranda
find a wind to take her far and away?
