Mary Serfozo is the author of several books for children. She has two children and three grandchildren, and lives with her husband in Paso Robles, California.

Jeffrey Scherer has illustrated many books for children. He also works as an online producer for the Times Union advertising art department. He lives in Voorheesville, New York, with his wife and two children.
