ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Southern-born Evelyn Scott was one of the most highly touted literary figures of the 1920s and 1930s. The Fourteen Bears stories were her only children’s books.
Virginia Parsons illustrated several Golden Books in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
