ABOUT THIS BOOK

POPULAR ILLUSTRATOR DAN Yaccarino brings his unique style to the familiar realm of Mother Goose. His witty, bold graphics, set in the city, give the rhymes a fresh perspective. In this lush jacketed hardcover edition, Little Miss Muffet flips her curds and whey when she meets a spider at the diner, and Mary’s little lamb hails a cab to follow Mary to school!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dan Yaccarino is an artist, writer, and producer who has created many wonderful books in the trade (Hyperion, Harper) as well as his own animated television series, Oswald. A devoted collector of vintage Golden Books, he says his art style was greatly influenced by both Mary Blair and Tibor Gergely, both prominent Golden Books illustrators. He lives in New York City with his wife and two young children.
