ABOUT THIS BOOK

Leo Lionni’s signature mice are the stars of this boxed-set edition of four picture book classics. Not one word or illustration has been deleted from this collection, which includes Frederick, a Caldecott Honor Book about a poet field mouse whose happy memories help his family endure the darkest days of winter; Matthew’s Dream, the story of a young mouse who dreams one night of ‘playful patches of color’ and goes on to paint great things; Geraldine, the Music Mouse, a simple fable about a mouse who discovers a passion for music; and Tillie and the Wall, the story of a determined mouse who longs to discover the unknown world on the other side of the wall in her meadow.

Each hardcover book has an attractive small trim size and the boxed set is being offered at an affordable price. Leo Lionni’s Little Mice Tales is the perfect gift to introduce new readers to the magic of Leo Lionni.
