I visited the city on my first trip to Italy, and it's one of my favorite places in Tuscany. The best part about this entry is that I also have a photo of that courtyard with the well in it. I didn't realize that I took a rest at the Palazzo Marescotti! The paperback looks beautiful, incidentally. I hope book clubs enjoy discussing this great book!
