In Long Island, New York there was a guy named Brian. Brian was in high school, and desperately needed a date for the first school dance. He was hoping to go with Elizabeth, a classmate of his, and one of the most popular girls in school. So, when Brian finally gathered his courage, he asked Elizabeth out. To his astonishment, she said yes.
The night of the dance, Brian picked up Elizabeth at her house. They went to the dance, and danced, and had a really good time. Brian turned on the radio, when he and Elizabeth got some shocking news. A highly dangerous killer was on the loose; he had broken out of an upstate prison, and he was heading toward Long Island. He had a hook in place of his left hand.
Elizabeth and Brian were planning to go to a restaurant after the dance, but Elizabeth suddenly became very nervous. Brian changed the radio station, so as not to make Elizabeth more nervous than she already was. But when he changed the radio station, they were giving the exact same news story. In fact, there wasn't a single radio station in all of New York State that wasn't giving that story. So, Brian just turned the radio off altogether.
Brian and Elizabeth planned to go out to eat, but Elizabeth had other ideas. "Brian, can you please take me home?" Elizabeth pleaded.
"Elizabeth, if you're worried about that killer, I'm sure he's not even close to here. I mean, they just made this report." Elizabeth opened her mouth to say something, but was interrupted by a strange scratching noise near the trunk of the car.
"What was that?" Elizabeth asked in a scared voice.
"I don't know," Brian said. "I have a lot of stuff in my trunk. But anyway, I'm sure that killer's nowhere close to here."
"I really want to go home, Brian. I mean it," Elizabeth pleaded.
"Ok, ok, fine," Brian said. "I can't believe this," Brian mumbled under his breath in an annoyed voice.
"What did you say?" Elizabeth said loudly.
"Nothing, nothing," Brian said, rolling his eyes.
Brian finally pulled up to Elizabeth's house. "Ok, here we are," Brian said.
"Good," said Elizabeth thankfully.
Brian turned off the ignition and got out to open Elizabeth's car door, when he saw a most terrifying sight. There was a hook hanging off of the car door handle.
DUN, DUN, DUN!
THE END.
