As I’ve gone back to re-read some of my favorite summer books, I’ve noticed that they all have a similar smell. It’s a very comforting combination of sunscreen, chlorine, pink lemonade and chocolate chip cookies. Just picking these books up make me think of lazy hot days when I could read for hours ... The Wednesday Sisters made me wish I had friends like this! The writing was fresh and fun, and tugged at my heartstrings too. I've enjoyed an Advance Reader's Copy, and can't wait to introduce it to my book club!

"Wednesday Sisters" is a must read for anyone who loves to read, white, or simply celebrate friendship. The characters are quirky- their lives dramatic enough to be interesting, yet still believable. Only five chapters in so far (book arrived yesterday and I had to finish up another book I was reading first) and I'm loving it. It's like sitting down with a group of old friends.
