As a younger reader, 25 and recently engaged in a new city, I identified with the young woman who met and befriended themselves. I acutally listened to the book on CD while traveling this summer. I was pulled in and came to know these women; I looked at my own life and reevaluated what I was doing...what I was accomplishing. I have already recommended it to others and was sad to have it end because I just wanted to keep following each woman's progress as a competent and productive citizen in the time when being just a wife should be enough. I loved it.
