I enjoyed The Wednesday Sisters. It reminded me alot of The Saving Graces - an interesting, fun read rather on par with a good "Chick Flick" . The characters were people we all know, and I also identified with the fact that these women were on the cusp of a new era. Aren't we all?

I absolutely loved the ending in this book. These women really bonded with each other. However, I didn't feel the bond. I grew up in the time written and felt there was a real separation from women staying at home being moms and those out in the working world. This portrayal didn't seem to convey ... (continued)
Even though the concept of this book (a group of diverse women meeting and becoming good friends) has been done so many times before I did enjoy reading it. It was an easy read. I will discuss it with members of my book group to see if they want to consider reading it.
I loved this book. The camaraderie that developed; the feelings shared; the strength given to each other. I think this would make a great book for a bookclub and plan to add it to my list of books for next year.
