I was pleasantly surprised to find The Guilded Man waiting for me on my doorstep waiting for review. Having not read much in a few months due to being a mom, I picked up my galley and dove right in, devouring the entirety in one day. I just wanted to tell someone that I have been reading fantasy for a long time now since first reading "The Weirdstone of Brisingamen" and this is the first truly original book I think I have ever read. The interesting thing about this novel is that the author wrote the first draft on his smartphone while taking the train into work.
