I had high expectations because I read The Eight years ago and have often searched for a sequel. The Fire delivered more than I could have expected - history, intrigue, chess moves, involved characters and plot. A great read. I can't wait to recommend it to others.
Half-way through in the first day. Can't put it down. Many layered book which has been cleverly thought out and written. Two thumbs up!
