Read The Eight some years ago. I usually do not read books twice but when I saw this at the bookstore, knew I had to buy it. The 1st time I read The Eight was a book borrowed from the Library. Had myself pulling out the Atlas to locate all the places Cat, Lilly, Mireille and the others travelled. Your writing created vivid images that made me feel like I was crossing the desert or ocean in these adventures. You gave your readers characters to love, admire and want to discover more the characters not so popular and find out why they became the person history recorded about them. This is the favorite book of mine that can be found on my facebook profile. After reading this book a 2nd time, I felt like I was a character in the book too! Thank you.
