The Eight gave me double the excitement in one novel! The interwoven historic and current stories are each intriguing in their own right. The high level of tension kept me reading into the wee hours, and I can't wait to read The Fire!

Starting with the jump in time and beginning with Cat's daughter, I was pulled in to the sequel and read it straight through! When's the next book!!!??

I really enjoyed reading "The Eight." I quickly got sucked into the story. The merging of famous historical figures, mysticism, and a fantastic story centering on chess, mathematics, and science was different from what I have read before but look forward to reading "The Fire."
