So enjoyed this book. I have a great photo of a young Japanese girl sitting on a porch, who was waiting to be taken to a camp. LOVED this book My husband is now reading it and he too, is loving it.
I just finished reading this terrific book.I think it compares favorably to "snow falling on cedars",which I feel is the best novel ever of that time and place.
Just finished Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. It is a marvelous book, and I learned so much while being entertained by an excellently written book. Thank you, Mr. Ford!
Just finished Hotel. Loved it. Loved it loved it. The descriptions, language, writing, story, history -- just wonderful. I'm recommending it to everyone.
