Form must be received by Sponsor not later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 15, 2007. Only entries submitted electronically to the Web site in accordance with these rules will be eligible to win. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. No purchase, entry fee, or payment is necessary to enter the Sweepstakes. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Limit one entry per person/e-mail account. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States Must be eighteen years or older as of June 26, 2007 and live in one of the states in which entrance to this Sweepstakes is permitted. Employees of Random House, Inc. including its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of such employees and individuals living in their homes, are not eligible to enter. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER: One winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries submitted within the deadline. Drawing will be conducted on or about August 22, 2007, and winner will be notified by mail or e-mail by August 30, 2007. If the winner cannot be reached or does not acknowledge notification (by return of necessary paperwork as set forth below) within the ten days following the first notification attempt, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Releases within ten (10) days after the notification date. Neither Random House, Inc. nor its parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies, nor its/their promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims, or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged, or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.
